Hi,
I just wanted to briefly introduce myself. I'm relatively new to Low Carb. I've lost 24kgs in just over 6 months. I found that PP and PPLP helped me the most and I'm looking forward to learning more from others as I continue to make this way of eating my life-long choice. (THanks to Malcolm for nudging me here too).

I'm from Australia and since losing weight I've discovered bike riding and running. I'm enjoying the positive changes and the extra energy I'm experiencing. I'm looking forward to learning more about how I can still train hard and stay LC.

I'm curious about how long others have been LCing?
Anyway ... I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone...

Welcome, Protein-Girl. Did you ever visit the old board? I remember Proteingal, and wondered if you were the same person?

Welcome in, Protein girl...Malcolm can always be relied on for a good nudge now and then. ;)

Some of us have been PP'ing for years, others for just a few months, but everyone has something to share. Glad to meet you.

Hi PG and welcome in!
It so cool to converge here with people from all over the world! I'm from the swampland of Louisiana USA, although right now I've temporarily migrated way up to Northern Indiana to take care of my parents for a few weeks. brrrrrr!!!!

I have been PP for 8 months now but have been LC since 2002, i think. lol Time seems to get away from me lol PP is an awesome eating plan and one that makes sense to me and gives me the most energy!

Ally:)

Welcome, PP :D! I'm glad Malcom sent you our way - it's good to see you here. Congratulations on your success so far! Feel free to put a post in the Born To Be Fit forum where you will get a lot of answers on how to train hard and stay low carb :). I know Gabe has written a lot on this topic in the past and I'm sure he'll address it again along with the other knowledgeable people we have on board. As for how long on low carb - it will be 4 years for me in August.
