Hi all, good day to you

I was wondering about sunflower seeds. We have a local outdoor event this afternoon and I am an avid sunflower seed spitter when watching events out on the lawn chair.

The ones I have are per 1/2 cup 16g carbs:eek: however they have 14 g of fibre in that same 1/2 cup:)

Does this mean I only count 2 carb grams per 1/2 cup. Its been a long time since I have figured things like this out.

Clue me in if this is right, pleeese and thankyou

I'm going to throw out a question, just because.
I'm agreeing with Sherry . . . but . . . are the counts for HULLED seeds, or for eating the whole ones?

Fitday lists them separately, I think.

Go ahead and enjoy, though.

I checked and it does not say on the package, however I am assuming they are saying 1/2 cup of shelled ones.

I think I will just take a little bag and when they are done I will be too.
