Going Where I Haven't Been In 20 Years

I was gone for 2 weeks on business/pleasure trip. While at the hotel, DS (who is into body building) remarked: "mom, could you get rid of those jeans, they are falling off you". "Mom, that shirt is way too big, geez, it hangs". "Mom, your clothes look terrible on you". :rolleyes:

This place is familiar to me. Afraid to go clothes shopping because I can't believe I am a smaller size so I cling to my old clothes. This time it's really scarry because I can't believe I am shrinking out of plus sizes and into a 'normal' size.

I was in WalMart last nite & looked at some pj's. The 14-16 looked about right, but I searched for the 18-20 which looked too big. Didn't have the confidence to buy either & too scared to try them on. I desperately need panties, the size 9's I have I can pull up to my bra band :D . I put the package of size 8 undies back too. I haven't worn size 8 undies since I brought DS home from the hospital. He's now in college. :tear:

Snowpuppy - Why not start out small? Make just one purchase and get used to the smaller size. Then you can move on to another choice. My suggestion would be to start with the panties - only you will see them and know they're smaller ;). Then when you're ready to impress not just yourself but others around you, you can go for smaller pants or tops or... The possibilities are only as limited as you let them be :).

And, your son sounds like 8 year old, LOL! He told me about a year ago I had no style!!! :eek: Well, I do... but, not in the clothes I could get into at the time...

I agree with Shadow... try new undies... bet you grin all day! :D
