We are all definitely warriors, welcome to the arena, it's called good health and life! We had friends over last night for dinner and enjoyed their company, laughed a lot, got political and philosophical and listened to the struggles we each face. Neither of our guests have ever faced obseity issues, I am sure they have faced their own battles on other fronts.

Everyone we come in contact with certainly has their own battles. And getting up and fighting our own battles each day is in itself a victory. Look at Big Dawg who recently has come back to fighting. What a great day for him (and us too). Look at each one of you, all who bring such wonderful uniqueness and problem solving abilities and joy and good words even on days when you are not up for the battle. Look at those who haven't lost too many pounds but who keep fighting the battles because they are gaining good health, realizing it is not just about losing weight.

Brave warriors, (can you almost hear a battle cry here in the background :D ) We are in the arena and the battle is raging, it is our own good health and our own wonderful lifes we are challenged to protect, our homeland if you will.

Somedays it is an uphill fight all the way, others thankfully it is not so daunting. But keep the fight going strong, for certainly each of you, everyone of us is worth the battle.

Anyway, my hubby is now fighting the battle with health, and is monitoring his blood sugar levels. He is experimenting with what raises it (not entirely devoted to LC, yet, but it's coming, because it seems that every time he has grains; wheat in particular, that his levels reach the ceiling)
