f you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place
Nora Roberts
We had two different groups of people over this weekend on Saturday and Sunday for dinner. And as always we talked and discussed over wine and coffee and just enjoyed them a great deal. One of my dear friends who has been married many years was divorced and is kind of looking for where she wants to be, where she wants to go. She has been looking for this utopic spot for probably a good 5 years now and our discussion centered around what is keeping her from going and trying and being.
She knows she wants to leave this area, but where should she live? 5 years! Finally she is admitting to herself, that after all this time she wants to leave and go somewhere and be something different but she is afraid. Finally I thought you have admitted it and that is just fine, now you can begin solving your issues.
We all have those walls of safety built up around us, they shelter and protect us from life, from being hurt. Unfortunately they also protect us from the bliss of living. She is ready to join the world again, to knock down her particulary barriers, what about me? What about you?
Have a great day!
