"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."
--Albert Camus
Fall has officially arrived! And the outside is just so beautiful, albeit a few sneezes from me with the allergies also abounding. I think the changes of seasons can mark many things, so this morning I questioned myself about where I was last fall with health and where I am this fall with health issues? My answer is about the same. Next fall where will I be, will hopefully even better.
Whether you are smelling the last flowers of summer or enjoying the beauty of fall this weekend, take some time to breathe in life and beauty and friends and love.
Have a great weekend!

I love Fall and it is definitely Fall in Michigan. Rain and allergies, yes, but the color will be coming soon and the tourists are gone, the beaches are empty, the traffic is... well, still bad because the construction season starts right after the summer people go home. The quality of the light has changed, and not just because of the 400' of clouds overhead right now.
Last year at this time I was struggling with a stall, which turned into a 10-pound weight gain. Sometimes it seems that one health issue is resolved only to be replaced by something new and unforseen. I'm going forward and not looking back. "One day at a time" is the best I can do. I know what has to be done because I hang out here a lot. :D
Rain rain go away ...come back another day!!!!!!!!
I love crisp clear fall days. I'm looking forward to them.

Fall is nice, as is spring.
The Pacific Northwest doesn't have the colour that the Eastern Provinces do, probably because the temperature change is not as drastic.
However, Newfoundland doesn't have that many seasons - winter and July come to mind :)
Seriously, I was amazed that another rose appeared in my garden yesterday, as the mornings have become rather crisp. Yesterday, we wore sleeves when out running around the lake. It was warmish, but rather windy. This morning is was crisp. I was considering digging out my touque again, for those early mornings in the dark walking the dogs (yes, I have a "geek" vest)

I noticed leaves on the path in front of my house this morning, and the Virginia creeper in next door's garden (and ours too if I don't keep on top of it ) is starting to turn red. Autumn is definitely in the air!
I've noticed allergies the last few days, too, but not as bad as they've been in previous years . I can't be sure, but I think that getting the permanently infected root canal repaired earlier this year has helped.

Hope the allergies remain at bay for you Mitra, mine are flaring a bit, but not unmanageable.

They're not bad at all, Billie. I'm taking an antihistamine, but that's keeping it pretty well controlled.

Fall=Fire season in the West - we won't get cooler weather until late in October probably - and then if we have normal weather this year (always a question) next will come the November rains and fog (and snow in the mtns) - then dry and cool in Dec, probably an odd heat wave for 3-4 days in Jan and then cool but no precipitation until the Feb rains when the waves of storms come down from Alaska :D

Lisa every climate has such uniqueness. I think I would miss fall most of all if I were in a more temperate climate. But for those who like a more moderatoe, or short seasoned climate perhaps like you described they love it and it is the best for them. Bring on the snow I say! :D
