Love conquers all things – except poverty and toothache. --Mae West

Some smiles on a Saturday morning!

I opened up this computer this morning about 6:30 CST and just felt delighted to see the number of people posting and participating. That brought on the "Looooove message from me. I read with delight about the moms in the forum on PP families about how they are disgusted with school and getting ready to do some battle on behalf of the kids. Gosh now that is love for sure! And I read Dr. Norm's post about GERD and his endorsement from Dr. Mike and Fredrich Hahn's post, co-author of Slow Burn with the Eades, the recipe forum is getting more and more great things and I love the forum the protein powered kitchen. So I couldn't help this morning to smile.

Love does conquer many things, a toothache and poverty most certainly not, but friendship and support, hey we are getting it done. Great job everyone! Only 5 days this board has been open and although it is not the same as the old as I always tell my co-workers, the Model T changed a few times as well, so it is looking good!

Have a great Saturday! We are off to meet friends for coffee, do a little grocery shopping and maybe some fun time this afternoon out in the bright blue sky with the Polly dog. My youngest son is here until tomorrow, it is so good to have him home! :D Love!:D

The slow burn looks like something to add to my library. When I lift weights, I lift to the count of two and lower to the count of 4. Really creates a burn.
I love the resources that are here also. This board is a real gem.
have a great day.

Thanks Lynn, the board is only as good as the people who frequent in my opinion so hats off to everyone here! Or as Dr. Mike said in his blog:

Protein Power Forums

The new and improved Protein Power bulletin board/ forum is up and operational. To get to it click here.

This bulletin board has been moderated and nurtured along by a group of truly dedicated and knowledgeable people who have been wonderful to work with. MD and I have been almost totally hands off, although we cruise through and post occasionally. If you're looking for a community of people who have lived low-carb and can give you support and intelligent information, head for the forum. Ditto if your looking for recipes and answers to your low-carb questions. I can't sing the praises too highly of the folks who work hard to make this forum as good as it is.

Those were nice words by Dr. Mike and as I say as for as I am concerned they go towards every single person who visits, corresponds here!

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Wisconsin....

I have to say that the new boards are soooooooooooooooooooo cool. Thanks so much to the Eades for hosting them and you moderators for keeping things going in Yahoo until this board was ready. The new boards are so much easier to use and are organized perfectly. It gives me the incentive I need to post more often. Thanks again!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D

Mary, that makes the long haul since last September all worth it...and I too, think that a board community is only as fun and beneficial as the people who give it a voice--the members--so thank *you* and everyone else who contributed to the vital community at yahoo! PPBBS, and who is now contributing to a healthy community here.

I really appreciate everyone who kept the group together until this new board was done! I was lucky enough to have been trying to register for the old board right in the midst of the hacking lol.... I don't even want to think of where I would be right now if y'all hadn't had the yahoo group all these months!
THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!!!
