30 Day Blood Sugar Average 131
14 day Blood Sugar Average 123
Insulin Usage < 60 units/day Sometimes as little as 40
Calculated Values
% Body Fat 26%
178 Lbs Lean Body weight
62 Lbs Fat

Based on New numbers my new goals are
Weight 198 lbs
Body Fat 10% or 20 lbs
30 Day Blood Sugar Average 90
14 Day Blood Sugar Average 90
Insulin Usage 0 Units

Do I believe these numbers, not the calculated ones entirely. They show a reference point. I do not believe in 7 weeks that I could have gained 18 lbs of muscle, and lost 13 lbs of fat. Do these represent a closer view of what I was probably like to start with, I would have to say yes. I know that I store most of my fat around my stomach. I always have. When I have had the caliper test done in the past, I have been told "Well, you don't store much fat on your legs do you." So removing fat from the stomach will cause a bigger change in the number for me than for others.

I have been doing the Body for Life resistance training program, making sure I get plenty of protein and following the recommendations from PP and PPLP, Taking Fish Oil very regularly, I have noticed my strength improve considerably and can tell my body is getting firmer.

Do I believe 198 is now my goal weight. It is my goal weight until I redo the numbers in a month or so and then change them accordingly. I believe ultimately it will be higher because like I said, I store my fat around my stomach, and do not have a lot in other places, so that will drop the fastest as I burn that fat.

I am also glad my blood sugar levels have dropped considerably as well as the amount of insulin I use. I believe that it will continue to drop as I build muscle and lose fat.

The two biggest challenges were Thanksgiving where I had 2 pieces of Pecan Pie and 1 piece of Pumpkin Pie, and then last Saturday when my kids wanted to order pizza. I had 4 slices. Way too many I know but other than that I have stayed to under 50 grams of carbs/day and trying to get at least 200 grams of protein to build the muscle.

13 pounds of fat lost in 7 weeks? Sure it's possible... even likely! Those look like really great numbers! Keep up the good work. :D

Sounds absolutely correct. When I go from my "normal" routine into a heavier weight training routine, I'll gain weight.

And lose size.

Just gotta do that more often...

CEMays, I am SO impressed! About everything, but the blood sugar improvement is outstanding! Keep in touch, even when things might not be going your way.
