those are usually flourless cakes to begin with - shouldn't be too hard to make one sugarfree- in fact, don't the Eades have one at their cookworx site?

Thats on my list of things to do Missy. You are the second person in about a week that ask me to try that. If I get something I am satified with I will post it.

Most of the lava cakes I have seen have flour in them Lisa.

Thanks Lisa! I checked it out..and it was LAST on their episode list...about CHOCOLATE something or other in the title.
Seems as though their recipe is one LARGE cake...and the recipes I've always seen have been made in ramican's. WHICH I don't OWN...sigh....but I WILL if I can make them legal!
I don't even have ANY recipe for this type of cake, legal or otherwise....but Paula Dean just made something like this on her show, and I thought! MAN that would be really oowy and gooey! YUM!
Thanks Lisa (cy) and Kevin!

Well, there are a few already out there.
From Suzanne Somers: Molten Lava Cakes with White Chocolate Lava (http://www.enotalone.com/article/4646.html)
This recipe from Rachel Ray, via Active Low Carber: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=217302
and those were just the first two.
Alton Brown has one, too, that he makes in a cupcake tin so that you have individual servings without ramekins. ;)
