Good day, campers! I guess it's slow going today!
I slept late and started right to the housework. Nothing much doing other than that. I had coffee w/cream and cinnamon and hazelnut davinci, which is my fave. Added a slice of breakfast meatloaf later. Now there's a chicken roasting in garlic and rosemary and sea salt in the oven. I need to make another "breakfast" meatloaf because the boys helped me eat this one. Seems it makes a great sandwich!
My cold is slowly leaving me and I feel a lot better today. I need to go out for groceries. It's a beautiful early autumn day in Michigan. A bike ride sounds good.
What are you doing today? :)

Gosh Carol, you must have been so lonely all by yourself here today. I just got back from grocery shopping with dd and dgd and thought I would check in. Wow.
So glad that your cold symptoms are better. Mine are still going some what although I can breathe much better than I could day before yesterday. I can't figure out where in the world I caught a cold. No one I know had one.
I have been on plan with eating but I left the house at a little before 8 a.m. so did not get in any exercise. I will need to get that done very shortly.
We are having an autumn type day here too. It didn't even make it to 70 degrees. Amazing. I guess I still can't believe all that heat is gone for a good long while.
Well, I will be back later to say yea or nay for the day.
Doing sound at a wedding today. I love the place. The wedding will be beautiful.
I am doing good today. Don't worry...I won't screw up my 100%!! Not after I am halfway there.

I woke up today with a great gusto. I moved the lawn, trimmed the back yard trees. Started with the front and decided today was the day to cut down two trees that sit on each side of my front door. besides the fact i was scared the roots would creep under the house to cause problems, it blocked the view to see who was at the door and blocked the front porch light. Safety first. THEN I MOVED THE GARAGE. it has been packed full of stuff since this April. So I cleared it out, organized it and now can part my car in it! :-) Victory!
Here is to a yes day!

Hi, Karole! I don't think the heat is gone permanently. We're supposed to be up into the eighties again next week. Guess I'd better address the A/C problem in my car. I do hope you feel better soon!
Sarah, you sure got a lot done today! What a dynamo!
Hawk, I hope you had a good time today. I'm not at all worried about you, woman. You are the most strong-willed woman I know, and I know a few! How is the foot doing with the metatarsal pad?
My knees are barking today. I think they're my new barometer. It's been seven months and I'm sick of them!
Hi, Randy!

Yes for today and goood grrrief Feelix. You were sure full of energy today !! Wow. Do you do windows too? Good job!! I need to do that to my basement. It needs a good cleaning so badly.
Yep, no doubt the Hawk will come flying through with out any carbage attached to her hips !! If anyone can do it she can.
Carol, one of these days we are both gonna feel great again, I just know it !!

Thank you, Karole! I look forward to the day. Today I exercised early and caught those knees before they started complaining. ;) I know they'll be better when I can get those muscles strengthened up again! Life is a journey, isn't it?
I forgot to say I had a YES for Saturday.
I tried to log on yesterday, but there was some kind of problem. I was trying to check in at 6:58am, then again around 8:30am, but it kept telling me there was a 'error' on the website. I could go elsewhere on the web so it must have been a PP site issue?
I blew it today, but it was a CONSCIOUS decision. I was REALLY cold, and wanted to have some soup and a sandwich. I used low carb bread, but had tomato soup...not exactly lc...
I did wait until supper to blow it so that I couldn't eat all day (that's what I do, blow it early so I can indulge all day)...I just couldn't justfy having to re-lose all the weight I have just lost so that I can eat for ONE day (and be miserable ALL DAY LONG!!).

Hi All,
I had a planned off day, but was surprisingly little off on Saturday.
Breakfast, PP all the way.
Ended up with no lunch, but about 2 slices of roast beef (didn't want to mess up my lipstick:eek::tongue:)
cocktail hour started at 6.
Had 2 small pieces of sesame chicken, 1 medium meatball, 1 small serving of eggplant parm, 3 slices of kiwi
and 1 Absolut screwdriver
Dinner - fruit salad - tasted it, pure canned, sickeningly sweet, ate one bite of peach and had no more. Pasta was overcooked, sauce acidy, ate one bite, sent rest back.
Salad looked okay, but I was dancing:D
Had another drink, danced some more
dinner, I chose filet mignon and it was delicious. Took one bite of the cheesy potatoes (watery and salty) and ate no more of them.
Had 2 more drinks, tons of dancing
dessert - ate the icing (it was delicious) but the cake I didn't like, so didn't eat it.
Danced some more
Venetian hour - I saw they had a waffle iron. I was all set for waffles and ice cream - they had NO ICE CREAM (Hey, this was my off day and I can't find any carbs that aren't garbage as well as carbage:mad:)
But, I saw, at the waffle table, they had scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage
which, as you all know is my favorite meal:D
I did take a cream puff (but after one bite, left it) and had 3 more slices of kiwi - their kiwis were GOOD!:D
So, my "OFF" day was pretty darned good ...:D
unfortunately Sunday wasn't as good ... see Sunday's post:o
