It's late afternoon on the east coast...no challenge thread today? hmmm. Well, hey...I'll pledge some ME time today!

I'm also pledging to NOT freak out that I seem to have lost two pounds overnight (glad the weight is gone, but always a little worried when I drop weight for no apparent reason.) I'm going to be proactive and DO THINGS instead of worrying about what I can't control--I journalled, I walked, I went grocery shopping, I am thawing a cornish game hen to roast in the crockpot, and I cleaned out my freezer. I also pampered myself with a little hand massage and a haircut at the salon/spa, and visited my first Tuesday Morning store. So all in all, a very good day so far.

Gaelen, Sometimes pampering is something we HAVE to do for ourself. I live in the mountains in Colorado where water is of short supply and we
are careful to conserve. My pampering is to take a full bath once in
a while instead of a short shower. Your day sounds much more fun!

Got to a movie and a 45 minute workout later. We had guests for dinner, BBQ 's strips of beef with Chipotle seasoning, and Spaghetti squash with a garden salad.
