Morning, everyone!
No inspiration has hit me so you will all need to find your inspiration within yourselves:slywink:.
I'm all set for the day.
Had my eggs for breakfast.
Made extra grilled chicken breast yesterday, so that's lunch, and dinner will either be the meatloaf I cooked yesterday or the pork dh cooked on Sunday.
Have a great PP day:D

Hi, my inspiration, a 1/8" lost in my waist. Scale still hasn't budged, but, I am happy with the inches that are going. I figure the scale will catch up.
Snacks packed, lite dinner in our department for lunch today. I brought something PP friendly, so with the ham, I should be allright.
Will check in later.
Have a PP day, all.
Wow...sure is quiet around here!!
My meals are cooked/packed except supper. That will be a chicken caesar salad somewhere. We have some errands to run, so we'll just grab a salad at a restaurant.

Just have a moment to check in. DH and DS are off playing golf and DDIL and DGS are here but busy elsewhere so thought I would take a moment to see how it is going.
I am not drinking my water like I should, I just can't remember to drink, nor do I do very well with my supps when I have company. But I am doing okay with my carbs and protein. We all went out for about a 40 min. walk earlier so we are exercising too. All in all things are going really well.
Claudette, glad for your inches lost--scales don't matter as much as that.
And it is always nice to hear from others that they are noticing too.

Yes, it's quiet! Everyone getting ready for road trips? Not me! I've got one ten minutes away and another one 30 minutes away. Let it snow!
I ran out of protein powder yesterday and didn't get to the store, so I drove by Burger King this morning and ordered their enormous omlette sandwich without the bun. It has egg, sausage, bacon and cheese and I did NOT get hungry for hours! Now, remind me to go to GNC on my way home from work! I'm going to try some Isopure because it's zero carb and my regular brand has 5ecc per serving. That will let me use a little more fruit and stay within 10ecc.
Pork loin roast in the crock pot for dinner tonight. Yum! I'll have it with green beans and add redskins for the guys. Maybe I'll try the green beans/dried cranberry combination that I plan to take on Thanksgiving. I've heard it's beautiful as well as tasty. You just add butter and Lowrey's Season Salt to taste. Heard about it on the radio.
Great inspiration, Claudette! Just what you need to firm up your resolve for Thanksgiving. Gives you that much more to be thankful for!
My inspiration is the extra sleep I made myself take last night. I usually run on six hours, but I need eight or nine. I feel better just with one extra hour! I'm not ignorant, now, but I'm a night owl at heart and I really need some self-discipline. I'm sure when I retire I'll stay up half the nights and miss the mornings! That's counterproductive for a photographer.
CAROL!!
Put a note on your purse to stop at GNC.
I use the GNC brand soy (I'm pretty sure), no carb powder...no flavor, no carbs, can be put in anything.
Hello Everyone!
I thought I'd just drop by and say HI. I haven't been around for awhile, but I've been reading up when I can.
Much has changed with life. DH got a job!!! I have the three little boys to myself all day, everyday ... I love it, but quite an adjustment not having daddy home.
And me, I've started running in the AM on the treadmill. I'm choosing LC because it is what makes me feel good. I haven't stepped on the scale - but I'm getting a lot of comments about how good I look. (I think it is the running and LC combination for me.)
I had to step away from the intensity of the board. Not that it is intense by nature, just the personal pressure I put on myself. And, on my own, I discovered I do choose the PP life! (I'm kinda proud of myself to tell you the truth.)
Maybe I can jump back for the December challenge. It might be good to talk through the holidays with others.
I miss catching up everyday. I think I'll read some more of what is going on with everyone!
Know that I'm still silently cheering for all of you!

Thanks, Mom! Also thanks for the hint about the GNC powder. It's probably cheaper than Isopure.
Kathy! It's wonderful to hear your good news! I miss you, you know.

It's $8.99 per 16oz container (http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2133229&cp=2665513.2173642&parentPage=family)...no carbs, no flavor.
I will say it does contain the soy SMELL though...

Great to see you back Kathy.
Tonight will be chicken, broccoli and Orange Mousse on a 22/2 IF.
No inspiration has hit me so you will all need to find your inspiration within yourselves:slywink:.Someone sent this great little piece of inspiration yesterday on service and that every one has something to offer. Appropriate for Thanksgiving or pretty well any time. Don't bother signing up at the end unless you want to add to the daily inbox but the clip is worth the ad.
It's not religious ... or political, but definitely motivational and ties in a little with this time of year.

good to see you, Kathy! Congrats on dh's job!
Randy - that was a great clip. Gave me some thoughts for a meeting I have to attend tomorrow and the "can do" attitude I now plan on bringing in with me:slywink:
The meatloaf and veggies I made last night - but didn't eat last night - were fabulous:D and simple
chopped meat, spinach, grated parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder
veggies - a broccoli/cauliflower mix
I spread the broccoli/cauliflower around the meatloaf in the pan, added butter,
mmm
Randy...you made me cry.
We have a downs syndrome bagger at a store close to my house. A Lady named Jane. She is so comical and theatrical. I love to be in her line. She always has time to talk to customers . A couple years ago Meijers got rid of all thier ( special ) baggers and installed bag turnstyles. It created quite an uproar in our town. I would rather go to the local store with JANE.
Anyway.. I walked that two miles yesterday..now my right calf is so hard and tight . It is really painful. Like a constant charlie horse. The left one, that had the cast all summer is fine. The RSD was caught in time. I'm putting hot compresses on it and riding the bike. It will take awhile to get back what I lost while having the cast. I'm going to try some heavier leg presses tomorrow at the gym.

Good evening, all--
This is the first chance I've had to post all day--just one of those crazy days, but I just love hearing how all of you are doing. Great story, Randy!
The best part of my day--weighing in at my doctor's office at twelve pounds less this month. I knew the scale had gone down a lot, but my scale is just not that accurate, so I was pretty excited when I saw the weight flash on the screen.
My PA also explained the "why am I so cold?" issue. She said since my available energy is used to fulfill my basic energy needs, there just isn't much going towards keeping me warm. But today's been better--at least there isn't that cold rain. Wearing tights and a sweater helped me survive school.
I made my Thanksgiving pumpkin cheesecake tonight and bought my ingredients for sausage stuffing. That'll be Thursday morning. We're going to my brother's for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and then it's off to my MIL's for Thursday.
Have a great holiday, everyone.

YIPPEE!
My scale always weighs LESS than the doctor's!
Pork loin in the crock pot tonight, with green beans and rice (for the guys). Now my mission is to hit the bed early.
See you tomorrow! It's gonna seem like a Friday!

Way to go Hawk. I want you to walk those pounds off and enter them on your chart.

Congratulations!
