Can anyone summarize what this book says? I read an article by Dr. Mike on his blog and he only mentioned that Kendrick stated that fat / saturated fat does not cause heart disease. I'm betting the book has much more to say.

My point is... what IS the cholesterol con? Is it that total cholesterol is meaningless? Or is it also what is stated above about fat not being a problem? Is it that LDL by itself is not the culprit with heart disease? Does he go into small, dense LDL being the culprit? Does he champion low carb?

I'm trying to get a handle on what really IS the truth about blood lipids. Should we totally dismiss all concerns whatsoever about lipids? Or should we continue to measure them and shoot for large, fluffy LDL, high HDL, low triglycerides and 'good' ratios? Should we or should we not pay attention to the lipid profile? So, where is the con?
