Darn...I was excited about this, but just saw the CANADA part...
I can't find anywhere that I might be able to see it here in MN...any idea if it will be streamed?

The radio show link is the Phinney/Wortman interview that's been discussed here before. I just listened to it again: for anybody who hasn't heard it, it's well worth hearing.
The "story so far" page on Wortman's blog was interesting. I'll look forward to seeing some more articles as they appear. And, like Amy, I hope at least some of the TV programme will be viewable on-line.

I think it struck Dr Wortman the same way:I still didn’t know anything about low-carb diets but I was beginning to figure out that something extraordinary was happening as I shunned these foods. It was my wife who pointed out that I was on the Atkins diet. Like many women, she had struggled to lose weight after the birth of our son and had tried various diets including Atkins. I recall that when she brought home an Atkins book I was dismissive, suggesting that it was just another of the fad diets and that it probably wouldn’t work over the long haul. Now that I was obviously more receptive she brought out the book and showed it to me and, sure enough, as I read it, I realized that I was “doing Atkins”. More or less, actually, as I wasn’t really following Dr. Atkins’ stepwise approach to carb restriction, I was still simply avoiding all carbs.
Did anybody see the programme?

Interesting. So, this proves something. Guy comes to his own diet. Through research. It works and he believes it's sustainable, etc. But when it's presented as "Atkins" it's dismissed. Clearly, there is a brand problem for ketogenic diets. Or at least the most popular one.

I didn't see the programme, but Regina Wilshire has just written about it on her blog: My Big Fat Diet (http://weightoftheevidence.blogspot.com/2008/03/my-big-fat-diet-aim-high-think-big.html).
