"Motivation is when your dreams put on work clothes."

*Ben Franklin

It seems we have to do more than dream, we have to "get real". The challenges are a good way of doing that, supporting us and encouraging us to do so. We are winding down April and will have a great one coming in May. Stevie is started a walking challenge today for 6 weeks so join in there as well. Thee's always the Monitor Monday/Feedback Tuesday thread in challenges forum, so lets put on those work clothes and get going.

The first step is dreaming, and we had something to think about last week on doing that, but this step toward motivation is putting the dream into action. Taking it off the shelf and executing. Reach high today, that shelf where all your dreams set is not very far away and day by day it can get closer.

Have a great day everyone, don't be afraid to put on those work clothes! I will be away for a few days in Michigan, back on Friday.

Great quote for the day, Billie!

Have a safe trip - we will miss you :(. And don't forget that breakfast while you're gone ;)!

If I don't put on the work clothes (or exercise clothes) daily, I could very easily revert to old habits and thinking patterns. I doubt very much that I would go back and eat exactly as I did before, but I could get lazy and eat the fast, cheap pasta that used to fill our plates prior to switching to a more healthful (for me) way of eating.

Now, I am watching my hubby struggle with his menu and try to eliminate the unhealthy choices in favour of better ones. We have to work at it together, so the motivation to keep the work consistant is there - to keep him well.

What a cool quote. My work clothes are in the wash right now. I can't get rid of a headache I've had for a week. Saturday I dehydrated because of an allergic reaction to some kind of sea food. A new allergy. I think the only way to stop it is to fast for a few days.

Great quote, Billie. I'm going to remember that one, and also share it with others.
