Starting my PP / LC diet was part of an overall plan to improve my health. I'm 43 and have no known medical conditions but just felt as I aged I felt more run-downed and tired. The last 4 months have been amazing. I lost fat 45 -40 inch waist, improved strength, no longer have heartburn, lowered my resting heart rate from 70 to 60 bpm, and lowered my blood pressure to normal levels. I know enough to know these are all good health trends.

Another part of this plan is to start getting annual physicals. Not that I dread seeing a doctor, but I haven't had a physical in seven years. Should I request that the doctor do any special tests outside his normal physical conditon, screenings for cancer, blood work, etc? This exam should give me a starting baseline for the following yearly ceckups as hopefully my health will continue to imporve.

Thanks,

David

David, another member named Backpacker recently asked the same question, and I posted these files for him in this thread (http://www.proteinpower.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4870#post4870) in the Challenges to Wellness section. They contain recommendations for baseline physicals for men.
Which reminds me, I've got to find the file with the baseline physical recommendations for women, and get that into a post, too.

Hope this helps.
