These are just a few of a growing list of articles that are always good to have at hand for reference, including one of the articles that Malcom (mcsblues) referred to during the June Challenge.

Oh sure, Gabe, just when I'm inundated reading research for this month's challenge, you provide more heavy duty reading  !

Seriously, thank you very much for those links :)! Looks like I have a lot of good reading in the near future :D!

:) Well, these have been here for a while, except for the Lutz paper that Malcom is discussing in the June Challenge.

I'm having a bit of trouble uploading the other two because they're quite large. If I'm not successful today, I think I'll make them available to people via e-mail instead.

Well, it obviously took the June challenge to get me to pay closer attention :p!

Effect of dietary animal or plant protein on blood pressure

Banshee sent me these articles to post them in this forum. For those interested in knowing how eating more proten can lower your blood pressure, please give these a good read.

From an e-mail from Mary (banshee):
During the June challenge, one of my postings (titled June Challenge: Protein-calorie malnutrition (http://72.32.36.211/forum/showthread.php?t=811&page=2)) had a note about an interview I found online about protein, fibre and blood pressure. The interview was with a professor who had done some research on this, and I said I would try to find the original research study. I sent an email to the university where the research was conducted, and yesterday I finally got an email from them with 2 research papers relating to the topic.

Thanks for the articles Mary!
