All great masters are chiefly distinguished by the power of adding a second, a third, and perhaps a fourth step in a continuous line. Many a man has taken the first step. With every additional step you enhance immensely the value of your first.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
One thing I can’t do for very long is stay the same. I’ll end up backsliding unless I’ve got a plan to move forward. I re-evaluate my methods every time I pick up a new piece of information.
Breakfast will be a strawberry shake. Lunch may be cauli bake or sausage patties. Dinner can be pizza, since I picked up a package of flatout bread. Haven’t had that for a long time! :)
It’s supposed to rain today. Rest day from the gym.

How did you know I needed those words of encouragement today! So identify, we have to keep in motion to get somewhere, we just need to keep walking! (On that is such a pun in so many ways for me!)
WEll 40 days of NEANing and no Starbucks coming right up! God help the people around me :D!!!
Have to get ready for a meeting, best day to all of you!

Morning all... quickly passing through as I have to get DD2 to an eye appointment this morning.
Breakfast was a shake - had it all blended then realized I forgot the protein powder and had to blend it some more. Way too thin today :(
Snack and lunch packed for work: cheese, leftover flat iron on a bed of romaine with dressing and some baby carrots.
Tuna and almonds in the afternoon
Dinner is to be the "red" Italian chicken and a salad.
Scale was 1 pound lighter this morning as well :D
See you all later!

Work work work.
How to up the game? I think it's gonna be supplements. They sit here at my desk, and look at me, but they do not currently get used. There are probably things that could be added (magnesium, potassium, D, E) for something closer to optimal health.
Any rate, back to the millstone... err grind stone.

It's really a question of whether I am grinding on work or work is milling me. Some days it's one, other days, it's the other.
I finished my plus one at lunch today. PPLP reread. Relearned some things. Also, amazed at how much change there has been in the 9-10 years since the Eades wrote it. For instance, Sucralose, marketed as Splenda in Canada, may be available near you. That was 2000. Things have changed.

Am so late in posting that it's the day after. Had an optical emergency and was at the Doc till 7:00 in the evening. Seems that I have a possible something or other that has some stretch-marks which could cause some interesting developments if it decides to slide off its perch and take the retina with it...next chapter another day. Always something. I sort of wondered why I kept having to clean my right eyeglass. It actually was my eye that was cloudy not the glass. :p
Protein was around 100
Water tons
Supplements of course
Exercise, gallopping all over the city to get an AMT machine before going to Doc
all the rest was irrelevant because with the nerves which attacked me yesterday night I think I must have lost a ton
We're taking on a 40% investor, and therefore becoming "a new company"...which means all our contracts (customer and vendor) have to be switched over to the new company.
It's been a paperwork nightmare!!! And it won't be done by the closing, but that will be the light I can see at the end of the tunnel (whereas before I couldn't even see ANY lights!!!).
Ugh! Puddin!!
Keep us informed...and DON'T strain your eyes!!

Today was more of a millstone. DC is infuriating. And I had the opportunity to kill all of the frustrating people while I worked there. I mean, I worked in the office with all of my current frustrations (well, all the management ones... the union ones are a different sort of headache).
At any rate, 54/55.
Protein: ~150
Carbs: ~35
Calories: ~1500

:suspicious:
I AM the "team"...
:(
I am working with a good lawyer though. She is good at helping me keep "lists" and helping me determine what is a "red" item and what can wait.

It helps, two heads are better than one. Usually. I can think of some heads I don't really have a use for. ;)
