I have a vaginal yeast infection and have been on Jenny Craig diet-need to lose weight (70 lbs). Would low carb lifestyle help yeast infections and weight loss?

In my experience, low carb pretty much eliminates sugar and starches from my diet, which would feed the yeast infection. I'm diabetic and I used to get them, but I haven't had one in the five years I've been following Protein Power.

Thanks, Carol! Jenny Craig is wayyy too expensive anyway. My last week of food was going to be $169-that does NOT include milk, fruit and salad from the store! I get a 30% discount but am sick of eating the same thing over and over-have been going 6 years and only lost 19 lbs (with phentermine-which I no longer use). I am doing the dual action colon cleanse and I think I will feel better-lost some stomach weight-my dad and Late mom are/were diabetic and I don't want to get it!

I've had re-occuring yeast infections for 10+ years, but not in the last year when I got serious about PP. And I'm now on maintenaince, so am eating more wheat and chocolate, and so far they haven't come back. I also eat quite a bit of yogurt and kefir, which might be helping as well.
