You cannot change anything in your life with intention alone, which can become a watered-down, occasional hope that you'll get to tomorrow. Intention without action is useless.

Today, evaluate your habit--either the one you're cultivating or the one you're trying to leave behind. Have you found these challenges helped? I'm wondering whether to have another organized challenge in April or make it a Free For All, where the first person online starts the thread.... :) Your input is valued.
Breakfast today will be the good old shake. Lunch will be the cauli-bake, maybe with some V-8 juice. Dinner will be carry-out, or even eat-out, because my kitchen will be torn up.
My grandson's fifth birthday is today and we got an invitation to Chuck-E-Cheese for Saturday. :paranoid: Do they have anything besides pizza? I'm going to have to check it out today.

Well.. I discovered a tasty meal.... I bake Tilapia in a little butter, with cajun spices... while its baking I make a salad -greens, parm cheese, bacon bits- Then I place the fish on top of the salad and enjoy... no need for salad dressing! I loved it. Ate it twice yesterday and breakfast today hhehehe... when you find something good... hard to give it up!
Hope everyone is having a good day...

I certainly hope your title to this post is a prediction for Texas!!! We are dry, dry, dry and really need a good soaking from above.
I'm about 80% on my not grazing habit, although I certainly could do better. I've finally purged the house of milk chocolate since that seems to be my downfall. Dark chocolate, although I like it, doesn't call to me like milk chocolate does. I'm only about 1/3 way through GCBC, but will continue reading into next month. So there's been overall progress, but I've decided to target both "clean eating" and good reading for next month as well.
I'm "twixt and between" about next month's challenge. It seems to me you need a break so a less structured approach seems reasonable. OTOH I've really enjoyed the spark your quotes and moderation provide.
Have a great day, everyone! :) "See" you on the weekend.
My habit of planning food is REALLY falling to the wayside since fitday.com and I are having some problems!! (I can't delete food items after I put them on my "to be eaten" list).
ARGH!!
I emailed them...we'll see if I get any kind of response. If I don't I will email every day and become a bug in someone's rump!!
But...food is planned for today. BORING, but planned.
8:30am cauli-turkey casserole, diet v8juice
12pm lc goulash, romaine lettuce
3pm 1serving turkey pepperoni, iced latte
5:30pm lc goulash (have a meeting to run to)

My breakfast and lunch options were severely restricted by not having any fresh food in the house, and not being able to go out because I was waiting for my new camera to be delivered. So I had tuna on a rye cracker for breakfast and salami for lunch. Luckily the camera turned up just after lunch, so now I can go out to get some food while the battery charges :).

I would love to be a part of an organized challenge for April - I really need one for motivation. Anything I can do to get it going, please let me know!!

Carol- Chuck E Cheese has a salad bar.....Good to know, Feelix! Thanks. Have you ever had fish soup?
Dark chocolate, although I like it, doesn't call to me like milk chocolate does.I agree with you there, BC.
But...food is planned for today. BORING, but planned.
Boring is okay, Amy. At least it helps me think of food as a fuel and I don't get attached enough to binge.

I'm doing something different today...I burned the roof of my mouth over a week ago biting into a a deep-fried appetizer that had a pocket of molten goo in it.
It is still sore, I think because I keep irritating that spot when I eat solid food. So today...I'm just drinking things. Shakes for breakfast and lunch. Not sure what to do about dinner, but it will have to be something liquid or soft! (For me it really is "Wet Wednesday"!)
If it doesn't heal up soon, I'm going to go to the doc!

I'm with them Carol. The quotes are inspirational and give us something to add our 2 cents worth to. Funny how some one can say something you already know -but in a way that really brings it home to you. I love the quotes.
Been having a good PP day here in the Ozarks. Horse back early this a.m. for an hour and then did my upper body workout and sat out in the sunshine to soak up the D for about 25 min. Then dd came over to visit. Nice day all around.

Sorry about your "roof " problems, Yahoudi-- that can be so painful. I always thought sores in the mouth tended to heal quickly, but maybe the rest from solids will help it by not irritating it further. Good luck.

Good day everyone. My food totals aren't great again. I think I may have a touch of the flu (achy, headache etc. etc.) I had a shake (well not really, just protein powder in a cup of water) couldn't stomach much more. Lunch I ateabout 1/2 a portion of cauli bake and a few strawberries. Snack I had some almonds and I really haven't had anything else.
Just not feeling well.

I have NEVER had Fish soup... DO TELL!I never did either, until I went to the upper peninsula of Michigan. A little restaurant right on the water. The owner used to cook up whitefish chunks and take them down to the docks to meet the ferry boats from Mackinac Island. Anyway, he made a delicious fish soup, not a chowder, with a broth base, vegetables and chunks of whitefish that had been swimming in the lake that morning. Whitefish is firm and not "fishy" tasting. I don't think it had rice or noodles, because I was eating low carb at the time. I was pleasantly surprised because "fish soup" didn't sound too good.
I had a great day today. The guys had some trouble with the new kitchen counter so it's up on one side but they still have to do the sink part. The cupboards are definitely going to need re-painting!
Okay, if we want an April Challenge, let's think about a theme. :)

I think I just have one spot that got very badly burned.
It is feeling better...I did eat two tacos (without the shell...they put the meat and other fixin's in a dish for me), but otherwise I drank all my food today! :P
Putting more Anbesol on it tonight before I go to bed! Tastes nasty, but it really does give me some relief!
