Hi all,

I just posted my intro in the other thread, I'm still trying to figure out the boards so I hope I'm in the right place?

I'm looking for ideas for my dh's lunches. He is not losing weight, and while in general he is very good, he has the occasional slip-ups for sure.

Usually, I give him
1/2 c almonds, salted
3 eggs
turkey roll ups, with a little ranch dressing and cheese
1/2 c sliced veggie of some kind, such as carrots or red pepper (maybe this is a little more than 1/2 c, should re-check this)
sometimes 1/2c of blackberries

He leaves for work around 330AM and often is not home until mid afternoon -- so he has a long day, and struggles with getting enough food. He tries to also may be eat 4 pork sausage links in the AM so he doesn't start his day with nothing.

If I don't make his lunch, he sometimes ends up getting a breakfast burrito and the HFS. The tortilla is surely not LC, though for dinner, for instance, we usually have some kind of meat and then a side of veggie. He does like to have 1-2 beers at night a couple of times a week, which use to not interfere with his weight loss but seems to now (he is 45).

Reading all this, I'm sure that he is 'off-the wagon' way too much, eh?!
Anyway, any new ideas for lunch would be great!

Thank you,
Kimberely
