I've seen a couple of references here to an article or study cited by the Eades that a 30-40 carb a day limit is as effective as less than 20 carbs a day. Could someone tell me how to find this article? Thanks!

They say so in their book(PP) anyway. I forget verbatim what they say. I think any carb intake under 100 g/day can put you in ketosis, so there's not much difference between 40 and 20...other than 80 calories which is inconsequential.

I don't know about the study; but I wouldn't think 100g/day is a magic number for everyone regarding ketosis. I think it depends on how severe a person's insulin resistance is.

There is some certain minimum amount of glucose the brain needs to function before the body adapts to running off fat. This is 100 or 130 g. Something like that.
