Let's go, let's go, let's go - the week is slipping my already !

Today was chest and back followed by a 45 minute walk.

What did YOU do today :)?

I was planning on heavy duty cleaning at my sis's - and not planning on walking, but, dh was up at crack of dawn, so,
we walked about 35 minutes.

he went grocery shopping for her, while ds & I cleaned. She's in a 3rd floor walk up, so, this is multiple trips up and down the stairs, carting garbage out, groceries in.

floor mopping, scrubbing, etc.

so I moved a lot :D:D

Then I must tell you we are leaving for the Memorial day trailride tomorrow and won't be back until Monday. I know I'm absent a lot, but I will be back. :jawDrop:

Just wanted you to know what is up so you don't have to come looking for me.:D

Hey, Claudette!

Upper body today with some HIIT on the bike and ten mins on the arc trainer. I skipped the treadmill because my knee was being touchy. I love being stronger. I can carry my own guitars, music bag, mando, etc. in one trip now!

Sounds like it's time to get those youngsters out for a walk or something ;)!

Well I should hope so !!!!!!!!! But at least when you're riding you're getting some moving in !

Just wanted you to know what is up so you don't have to come looking for me.
Always a wise plan! I'm gonna miss you :( but hope to hear a great report from you as soon as you get back :D!

Well done, Carol ! I especially love how you've learned from experience and always find a substitution for something that's going to give you problems !

How awesome is that :D?!?!?!?!?!?!

Rather low-key lower body today. I had some dandy leg cramps from the HIIT last night! Tomorrow's a rest day.

Lita, you'd better get out the whip and the bloodhounds. There are some missing persons! :D

Well, since my whip obviously is losing its power  I think I'm just going to resort to being terribly disappointed in most everybody :( :peeved:

Don't know that that will get 'em either, but.... I can always try, right ?

Believe me, at this point in time I'd give anything for an extra 1/2 hour of actual sleep , so I won't whoop ya this time :). Not promising anything in the future, though ;)!

I didn't need to...but it felt great getting outside and moving.

Nothing to write home about...but it was something.

I miss the dogs...

Well, since my whip obviously is losing its power  ?
not so much as you might have thought, my back looks like I've been flogged but I'm feeling much better. I went back to work on Mon, fought with my umbrella every day this week with the wind trying to turn it inside out or take me away (now that's a work out.) I'm hoping to be back up to normal routine this weekend. It's really taken my energy, though. at least my sense of humor is intact:)

Phew - I am so relieved to know I haven't lost my touch !

So who won - you, the umbrella, or the wind ;)?

Give yourself time :). Too much, too soon and you'll be at a standstill again ;).
at least my sense of humor is intact
I think that's the most important part !

lol, well I'm telling the story so I'm gonna say I won, but don't ask my umbrella.
I'm really looking forward to the long weekend. I have a recumbent bike, I'm gonna see how that feels. My back is a little sore, but I can adjust the back so that should be ok. If its too rainy, the gym near me s doing a free zumba trial, it seems. That location isn't new but apparently there is a grand opening somewhere.

Thanks for your support!

Shadow -

I know the whip is coming, but I didn't do much in the way of moving OR shaking today

did walk around Costco and stairs, but not with much vigor:cool:

again couldn't get up this morning early enough to exercise before my day begins

can't seem to get enough sleep, don't exactly know why. But, during the day, I feel like I'm revving once I am awake.

anyway - tomorrow, I promise!
myself as well as you!

Sorry to report that I didn't get to the gym tonight. Retirement party after work. I actually forgot about it and carried my gym bag this morning.

Tomorrow will be business as usual, only I'll do both upper and lower resistance. :)

Hello everyone, I'm just to say 'hi' as I have nothing interesting to report. As usual before exams I am not able to concentrate on anything else. My M&S is virtually non-existent:o. (And I can feel it - my back is painful due to long hours spend at the desk...) Anyway, it's going to change soon: my last exam is on 29 May morning so hopefully I will be a regular visitor from that date on. See you soon!
