Well, we didn't see too many participating (or participating frequently) last week :( so hopefully this week there'll be a bit more M&Sing going on !
My schedule for the week is:
Sun - Cardio, chest, back, core and walk
Mon - Cardio, legs
Tues - Cardio, shoulders, core
Weds - Cardio, biceps, triceps
Thurs - Cardio, upper body*
*The body parts are being done with heavy weights Sun - Wed. The upper body on Thurs will be lighter weights with faster tempo, especially on the bi/tri exercises since I will have done them heavy the day before :). Didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring my own advice ;).
Now - what are YOU doing????

Shadow,
sorry, I've been AWOL.
and what I really need to learn is I owe the apology to myself, 'cos I'm the one I'm doing wrong.
I've been moving a little, but not enough.
Today, June 8, I have, however, already done my "extra" - a "Gilad" and I'm feeling it:D:D
We walked around the mall yesterday, but it was the ONLY moving I did yesterday.
I did watch an entire season of WEEDS...that took a lot of BRAIN work!! Sort of...:o
Okay okay...but in my defense, it rained ALLLLLLL weekend long! The ENTIRE weekend.

I knew my presence and my activity? would be sparse this month, internet access was too public. There were lines, waiting to use too few stations, and my smart phone was not as good as my previous smart phone (but that really belongs in another forum) and expensive at our hotel, so that wasn't an option this time.
Activity was- 2 days on a plane, (3rd and 7th) but at least there were/are miles to walk in both airports . 2 days of real activity Hoover Dam and walked everywhere in Vegas (5th and 6th.) Pretty easy to choose no carb options...but that belongs in another thread, sorry. 1 real day of meetings, no activity that day.

One advantage to landing at gate 1 and departing from gate 259, huh :p?

No apology necessary! We always need to remember that eating is at least 80% of the battle - exercise just is the low carb icing on the low carb cake ;) :).

Hi, everybody! :) I did arms and legs tonight. Lat pull, chest press, overhead press and delt/fly. Two sets of nine to fifteen each, depending on how it felt. I can really feel it. Also the bike and the arc trainer. Friday night I had leg cramps again,:angry::tear: I found an advice page and I'm doing just about everything they recommended already, including magnesium. Then they said my regular dose might not be enough and to try one extra just before bed. The jury's still out, but Saturday and Sunday nights I did not have any cramps or spasms. Cautiously optimistic...:paranoid:

Hay where are your legs cramping? sometimes tight butt muscles can cause a land slide of leg pain. Try sitting on a tennis ball and rolling it round to loosen up your butt muscles keep going till you get to the point your butt meets your leg see if that helps.

I have not posted in here yet but I thought that I might make me get out of bed at 3am and work out....Starfish, I can't think of anything that would be likely to make me jump out of bed at 3am, including Shadow's whip! Okay, the leg cramps do.
Yes, hips are involved, and I stretch out, but an hour or two later they're back at it; usually shin, calf or toe cramp. Maybe I'll ask the Geezer to take the massager to my backside! :D
I did my "library walk" yesterday. 1.5mile. Tried to walk quickly, but hit a lot of stop lights.
Better than nothing.
Tonight is my one hour salsa lesson. I sure was sweating last time, but it was VERY humid, so not sure if it was the workout, or the weather.

Trust me, grasshopper, if that were the only time you could do it, you would eventually adjust to it. Believe me, it wasn't easy for me to adapt but it was the only way I was going to get it done. Motivation and desire can make you do all kinds of things you never thought you would ;).

I know I could, but it would involve going to bed at seven PM, and there are some in my household that would probably have something to say about it. ;) It's hard to be true when you gotta work around little details like that.
Update: I took a mag again last night and had one little foot spasm that hardly even woke me up. That's after a good workout yesterday. I have hopes here. http://bestsmileys.com/excited/3.gif
Is your new PT helping? Do you see a difference?

Yes, it is . But I just make everyone march to MY tune - or pay the consequences ! Actually, it's quite amazing how many people think it's their business that I go to be early . It's frequently brought up here at work - mostly because I am missing this show or that show on TV. Like that's really earth-shattering and wrecking my world .

Wow - that's great! I hope you're really onto something!
Is your new PT helping? Do you see a difference?
I see all the black and blue marks, but that's about it . Seriously, the new stuff is doing some good but acc'd to the woman who does it, what PT is having me do is totally wrong and making things worse. Hopefully next week the PT I am assigned to will get back from vacation and they can get it together. It's only been 2 months, after all... But on the plus side, I CAN walk about a half a block now and sleep at least some at night. Those are both much better than before ! (Now are you sorry you asked ;)?)

Hello everybody! I know it's late Tuesday evening and it's my first report this week. I caught an awful cold last week and today is the first day when I feel a bit better. So this morning I did 20 minutes on the bike (HIIT) and was exhausted. Tomorrow is another day! See you then

(Now are you sorry you asked ;)?)Not sorry I asked, only sorry I don't ask often enough. I'm afraid I take you for granted, my dear. How anxiety-provoking that the PT's can't agree on the plan! Glad you're making progress, though.
I had a good lower body workout last night. I've painted myself in a corner, though, by stretching my work days and having Friday's off for the summer. Wednesday is usually a rest day, with a different after-work schedule, but Fridays at home mean I'm going to have to really use some discipline to get to the gym on Friday or Saturday! I sure don't want to go four days between sessions! It will be bad enough that I've got a week on the road and another week camping this summer. Lots of walking in my future, I guess.
Had a great time salsa dancing last night...
and I DID sweat, even though the room wasn't hot!!
So it MUST be a workout!

Today I did double duty because I really don't think I'm going to be able to swing another gym session this weekend. Tomorrow, I'm going to be babysitting the grandblessing with one hand and preparing for the weekend with the other. The weekend is a festival and I've got to play all day both days, plus squeeze in a wedding and a reception Saturday. I'll probably be walking a lot, so that might help. :jawDrop: I have to put my orthotics into my moccasins to do it.
Starfish...why do you need to get up at 3am to workout??
Yikes, that is EARLY!!! And I LOVE mornings!!
NO real workout for me. It was volunteer night at feline rescue, then had to get the cucumbers planted in the garden. Not a real workout, just kept moving.
