View Full Version : New to the board, but not Protein Power

Hi all,

I followed Protein Power with excellent results several years ago. However, due to many reasons, I have gained a lot of weight over the years and am now recommitting myself to this way of eating. I am hoping to get to know many of you, and am going to look to this board as a source of support and encouragement.

I have not weighed myself in a while, and will do so in the morning, but until then, I'm going to say that I am at 200# and easily need to lose 50#, possibly even more.

My initial goal for the rest of September is just to follow the plan and keep my carbs under 40/day. Then from there I want to work on cutting out foods that I know I have sensitivities to.

Welcome back Ramona! :)

I'm pretty new here, but am trying to take as much advantage as possible of the support of the people here. Popping into the challenges and movers and shakers everyday has really helped me stay focussed, I hope it can help you too.

Ah, Ramona, your story sounds a lot like mine. I am very sure we can achieve our goals if we commit to them. I lost a lot with the original PP and I'm receiving the new 6week book tomorrow. Really looking forward to it!
