1200 yards (12 laps) in the pool ... still at 26.5 minutes, wondering why all last week I was at around 24 and now I can't seem to get back. Hmmm.

To the gym - recumbant bike (had cramp in leg so didn't want to take a chance on weight-bearing cardio) for 25 minutes followed by weights.

Got my hair cut - should have checked the scale - probably at least five pounds :-)

I know it's not a half marathon, and I'm not sure that I'll actually run the entire distance, because my hubby doesn't believe that he can (and I'd feel guilty leaving him behind), but we are hoping to accomplish the "Tely 10" on July 23rd. The furthest we've ever gone in an "official" capacity is the Resolution Run on December 31st (past), which was five kilometres (rather cold, windy and snow flurries).

We have started running with his students periodically (part of their PT program), which involves a 3.8 km trail around a local lake. Also, as noted in my other posts, we've run a larger lake/pond and an old railbed trail with the dogs (which is probably a faster pace than without them).

It is actually an historic race, hence, despite it being in Canada, it is ten miles, rather than ten kilometres. If I remember correctly, it's been ongoing for 79 years.
