You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal. Charles Carlson Guess what? You're already a success! Now let's continue on our way to our goal. :) How will you be doing that this weekend?
Gosh, the sky is gloomy and the air is chilly and damp. A good day to get some work done.
Brunch will be eggs and bacon. Supper will be decided after a trip to the market. ;) There will be a snack of some sort in the evening. Probably Fage and berries.

I was worried about vacation eating, although I tried to remain on plan. I know I over-ate walnuts and peanuts, as they were the majority of the snacks.
But on Friday morning, weighing myself in the usual fashion (work clothes on), I found I was down two pounds from my new 215 average. I'll check again on Monday. If so, that's good news, and maybe those sausages in Denny's didn't have a lot of filler (they tasted mealy).

Lunch was 2 brats on romaine w/ cheese, mayo, BBQ sauce. Dinner was some PB&J on LC bread and 1 piece of dove dark chocolate (5 carbs for the piece).
Now I just need to catch up on my water drinking.

As you can tell, I've done lots of planning today :PBut I know you've got lots of good choices in your refrigerator Goose! :)
...I found I was down two pounds from my new 215 average. That's a nice surprise, Frank!
My meals weren't at all what I planned, what with housework and all. Mostly moving and re-stocking bookcases and all the associated chores. I had a bratwurst for breakfast, meatloaf with cheddar and salsa for lunch and a quesadilla and carrots for dinner (totally tired out).

My father in law was admitted to the hospital today because he was having trouble breathing. After all the tests, they have discovered blockages and tonight they are doing a cardiac cath. He is 91 and frail. Sigh.....
Today I had a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. Dinner was a protein burger at In-N-Out. I'll probably have some blueberries and cream for dessert.

P.S. Bill, I'm thinking of you...

I'm proud of myself. Last night I was tempted by a once favorite snack...a Snickers bar! DW Doy was putting together little packets of goodies for the little goblins and ghouls that will be visiting this week. When she opened that bag of Snickers minatures the aroma filled the room. But I sucked it up and took a long drink of water.
No exercise today. But I'll be eating on plan and drinking my water.
Today is Steeler day around here. Doy is a Steeler fan too!
Breakfast- Mushroom/Swiss omelet(2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites, 1oz swiss cheese, 1/4c sauted mushrooms), 3/4c strawberries, 2 Esskay turkey bacon, 2c green tea.
46gms protein, 9gms carbs
Lunch- 4oz grilled chicken; broccoli salad(broccoli florets, onion, bacon, pecans, dressed w/mayo, vinegar, Splenda and celery seed); 2c green tea
49gms protein, 8gms carbs.
Supper- 8oz ribeye, Italiano style; 1 med grilled tomato; 1/2 med grilled peach; 2c green tea
48gms protein, 10gms carbs

Took my Mom to her best friends funeral yesterday.... The last several days haven't been all that great with being sick and then Mom's BF dying. She went fairly quick, she was diagnosed with cancer in June. I've been on auto pilot as far as food goes, haven't lost but haven't gained either so that's good enough for me at the moment.
Had eggs for breaky, not sure what lunch and dinner will be.

Hi! I finally wrestled my Mac away from DS. Spent most of the day with my mom and my sister. Mom just turned 87 and we took her shopping for a birthday present she could really used. Lunch at Asian Buffet. I stayed away from non-PP offerings, of which there were many. Protein and vegetables were also prolific.

Lunch ended up be sammich in a bowl (turkey, ham, balogna, bacon bits, sunflower seeds, cheese, mustard, mayo). I made too much and was proud of myself that I stopped in the middle. The goal was to finish it for dinner. Instead my wife wanted to stop by the grocery store for some fried chicken (we remove the breading as we eat it).
Tuesday's dinner will probably be my leftovers from lunch today.

Bill, I read your detailed post just now. You must be very concerned for him. Please let us know how he is.
I am concerned. We're a close family. I have a sister, two more brothers and we talk almost every day. I will keep you updated. Thanks for your concern.

I'm sorry to hear about your FIL. I hope they can treat him without any invasive procedures. Praying for him and your family.
Thanks for the thoughts.

Asian buffets...love em! But you really have to be careful what you choose. Lots of non PP stuff there.

Carol, what a fun day. Happy birthday to mom!
Bill, your prayers are very much appreciated. Dad took an even more horrifying turn for the worse early this morning. His kidneys are shot after so many years as a diabetic and the dye used during the cardiac cath made them so much worse. He had to wait a very long time before receiving dialysis and we almost lost him during that procedure. The doctors were not very encouraging. But he got through it and his blood pressure started coming up slowly. He slept on and off for most of the day but was alert enough to visit with us from time to time. Only time will tell if he is able to pull through this.
I managed to get some bacon and eggs down before heading to the hospital. I didn't eat again until evening - and then I had some fajitas and a salad.
