Problems are only opportunities in work clothes.
Henry J. Kaiser
When life comes up with uneven ground, it doesn't have to send us back to square one any more. I think we're better equipped to handle things when we have a firm base to work from.
Yet another day of intermittent rain, I guess. More weather moved in overnight. Raincoat again!
Breakfast was a protein shake. Lunch will be deli beef rollups with mayo and mustard. Dinner will be pork chops.
Did you make it through Monday? ;)
Okay everyone...I'm not staying on plan, and SURPRISE!! My weight is at a high point...:peeved:
TOTALLY my fault...I am a food addict. I have been eating what I call my "yellow foods"...and ONLY my yellow foods (carbs). *sigh*
I have another plan today...and a ba-zillion things to do. Cross your fingers or say a prayer that I can just make it through today STICKING to my plan!
8am lc brat wrap, 2hb eggs
11:30 roast beef, rutabaga/onion/carrot
3pm 1/2 apple, 1oz nuts
6pm lc goulash
I will probably add a veggie to supper, just don't know what I have at home right now.

I consider that uneven ground, snags, stumbling blocks or whatever you want to call them as stepping stones of learning towards my end goal. Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them just continue in an upward trend to success

We've been having a lot of that lately but that is part of a normal fall day here in PA.

Will do both, Amy.

Amy - definitely got those fingers crossed!
Today I had a protein shake for breakfast, chicken and vegies for lunch. Dinner is still up in the air...
Kathee
I forgot I have a meeting at a coffee shop this afternoon.
I am going to add 1oz half-n-half to my plan. It works out well as I could use a bit more fat to keep me full this evening.
Thanks for the finger crosses Kathee and Carol!

Followed the plan. Dinner was a repeat (leftover steak and salad). Too much dressing on my salad but other than that I did well. The cheese with lunch helped a lot.

Tough day in my neighborhood food wise. Allowed work issues to lead into a bacon binge. :( Then figured I may as well have some cheese too.... No extra carbs but about a zillion calories. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Bacon binge followed by cheese? Sounds glorious :D
I always feel down after not sticking to my plan. However, realize that it's still a big win when you have a setback but don't go for the carbs. You'll bounce back from the extra cals a lot faster tha nthe extra carbs.
Very VERY good point Spruce!
