I went to a double birthday party at the Lone Star Restaurant last night. The day was great and dinner choices under 10 ECC with back ribs and a steak with a small salad and broccolli. I did indulge with a dessert and will work that off this morning to keep the roll ;) going.
didn't make it completely on plan. I didn't add food (although mentally I WANTED to), but I had 2 glasses of wine I didn't plan for, and a few extra o-rings. By the time we ate supper I was WAY to hungry.

I'm just planning my meals to day. I need to figure out what I have and what I need to buy.
I know for breakfast we will be having turkey taco meat with s.cream and cheese on a flatout wrap.
I'll come back and report the rest later.
Oh..I went dancing last night and was very much looking forward to it.
But the turn out was very low, the music was bad, and I had a bit of pain from the appendectomy...overall not much exercise was had by me...:(

Too much snackage for me this weekend. Kept the carbs in check, however.

Running late today. Its been a busy day. Our town had its Veterans Day Parade and Festivities. My wife Doy and I enjoyed the parade. Two of our granddaughters were in the parade.
A local restaurant was providing free meals to Vets and their spouses. So we took advantage of the offer. I had a very good NY Strip and salad fore supper followed by two very fine cups of coffee.

Lunch- 4oz grilled chicken; broccoli salad(broccoli florets, onion, bacon, pecans, dressed w/mayo, vinegar, Splenda and celery seed); 2c green tea
49gms protein, 8gms carbs.
Supper- 8oz NY Strip steak, large salad, 2 cups black coffee

Good on that restaurant, Bill !! How great !! As I said in another post, I totally agree with all the Shadow said and I'm glad to see other folks recognizing the service you vets have given all of us here in the USA.

[QUOTE=Ammy;99021]Overall, very disappointed with the event.
Sorry to hear it didn't live up to expectations. I hate when that happens. Have you ever tried Salsa dancing? I really enjoyed that. There were a few weeks of lessons then they had a dance (with a great live band). Unfortunately the woman out numbered the men at the lessons so I learned to lead, not follow. That was fine with me except at the dance when a guy asked me to dance it was a battle for who led!
The B-day party yesterday went well except I ate too much fruit salad. NO cake though.
Today I splurged out for brunch with my DS and had a ham and cheese omelet with hollandaise on the side. Yumm! She ate all my fruit for me. Not for much longer though, she wants to start low carbing! I am very pleased with this, she needs it.
Dinner will be flank steak and salad.
Jilly
Jilly, I took salsa lessons a couple months ago, then we went out to a bar and danced (to a dj). that was fun.
I think they will be teaching swing next...I'm looking forward to it!
I finished the day on plan. My weight seems to be stuck, but my plan is to keep on keeping on and just see what happens.
Being stable is better than going up up up, right?
