Good morning! I've been up for hours, but didn't get to the computer until now. I'm up to my elbows in housecleaning. It's too nice to be inside today!
What's going on for you today?

We're going shopping, heading to Costco etc. so 2.5 hours driving round trip.
Later SIL & BIL over for dinner. They're bringing their cat over so we can try to get her somewhat used to our house as she will be staying with us for two months while SIL & BIL are away. Nice cat, I hope she doesn't shred my house.

Yesterday I was on track with my food, water and exercise. It was a good day. And I stayed away from the scale which wasn't difficult seeing as I would have to go to the local landfill. Cause I threw it away so I wouldn't weigh daily. Hehe!
The weekends here! I watched my favorite college team Penn State win their game. I'm presently listening to our hometown high school team playing in the first round district championship elimination game.
I did some stretching exercises earlier and might try some more later.

I hope not either, Jilly! Do you have other pets in the house?
And I stayed away from the scale which wasn't difficult seeing as I would have to go to the local landfill. Cause I threw it away so I wouldn't weigh daily. Hehe!Well lots of people take measures to stay away from the scale, Bill, but I don't remember hearing that anyone actually pitched it. ;) There is life beyond the scale.
I had a cheeseburger for brunch and chicken and green beans for dinner tonight. I need to go to the store, which I'll probably do tomorrow. I already have plans to go sale shopping with mom and sis. I need new slacks and it's deer widow's day at the mall. :)

 it was actually Doy's idea. She was what effect daily weighing was having on me. So she suggeated tossing it. Best thing I ever did in my efforts to lose weight.

Hi everyone!
I'm posting here, 'cos that's where I used to be all the time
Been super busy - went back to school at night, 6 credits and having trouble getting my life in order.
I have been trying to stick to the plan, but have mostly been in maintenance mode.
We were walking 3x around before I started classes. Now dh is up to 4x around the park without me - he walks while I'm in school, but the other days of the week I was trying to keep up - trying being the operative word.
I do have some closer mini-goals though, and thanks to Shadows nudging, I will make more of an effort - well, I will make an effort to get back here, 'cos that's what I really need.
tty tomorrow!

yep, Agnes, we have been missing you. Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes, doesn't it.
Bill, I hid my scale in the basement and only weighed once a month when I was in the weight loss phase and it was the best thing I did for myself too. I was driving myself crazy with the darn thing. Good for Doy in suggesting you free your self from that thing.
Just finished some yardwork that I wanted to get out of the way before the rain they are predicting for the next 3 days gets here. I hope they are wrong as we don't really need it and I know the deer hunters don't want to see that much rain either. They are calling for 2 to 4 inches.
That is about the extent of my day except for more sewing on the quilt I am making for one of my grand daughters.

Food intake still way down. On Tamiflu and antibiotics as well for Bronchitus. Luckily there are very few off plan foods in the house or I would have had them.
Today was a small breakfast of lc toast, eggs and a peice of fruit. I watched a few episodes of 30Rock and read an hour of a Lee CHild (Jack Reacher) novel and slept for 3 hours. Dinner will be some beef strips and an orange.

Had lunch out with DS after our workout. I had the usual, 3 egg ham and cheese omelette, no toast or potatoes. :) Went to a congradulations party at my nephew's (he is now an official journeyman sheet metal worker) so snacked on meatballs, pork and veggies with dip. Don't think I'll need any dinner.
Last nights ribs were great! And no shredding of my house, the cat just hid in the closet.
And no Carol, I don't have any pets. (unless you count my bobble head dog Winston)
