Good morning! Another work-week is coming to a close and I'm looking forward to a weekend full of music and a visit from my grandson, who is five.
Ammy don't ever give up. Keep hammering away. Even the hardest rock will crumble if you pound it enough. Persistance pays!!!
These words were so applicable to everyone that I just had to quote you, Bill!
Breakfast is a strawberry/almond shake. Lunch will be a lc quesadilla. Dinner will be a quick salad and I'll have to think of something to take to the party tonight.

Carol no problem. That's the attitude I try to adhere to. And yes, it does pertain to everyone of us.
Yesterday was a good day. The massage did wonders. I did convince her to skip the stretching. I wanted a good day of rest because of the past days pain levels. I was able to easily get through todays workout with minimal pain.
I stuck to my food plan and got all my water in.
CBreakfast- 1/2c cottage cheese, 7 breakfast sausage links, 47gms strawberries. 2c green tea.
40gms protein, 9gms carbs
Lunch- Salad, (2c roughly chopped romaine; 1/2 med avocado, cubed; 1/4c cubed cucumber; 1/8c chopped onion; 1 boiled egg, quartered lengthwise; 1 slice crumbled bacon; 5ozs shredded chicken breast; 2T bleu cheese dressing. 2c green tea. 43gms protein, 9gms carbs
Supper- 6oz grilled sirloin pork chop, 10 grilled asparagus spears, 1/2 med grilled peach, 2c green tea.
42gms protein, 8gms carbs.
Enjoy the day!!
My breakfast and lunch are planned and low carb.
Supper...have no idea.
I am working with accountants on a pre-audit for the company so I am just absolutely swamped and by the time I'm done working (yesterday was 10hrs), I can't think straight.
Example...I forgot to shut my belt after using the restroom as I was leaving the office yesterday...FORGOT! Weird.
Anyway, breakfast has been eaten, and lunch is in the fridge...both on plan.
Persistance pays!!!
yes it does. I am seeing and feeling small but definite changes in the way clothes fit around the waist. It has now been 9 weeks on the program- have not been on the scale. No need to.
Since I added increased activity and more fat (coconut oil mostly) things have started to move. Thanks Shadow. Thanks Carol.
Daily aves
protein level is averaging 105 to 125
fat 100 to 110
ecc 25 to 32
I have found that I need to add whey/egg protein powder to get the protein number.
Today's numbers will be in the same range.
B=2 eggs and country ham
S= shake
L= chicken cheese steak without the roll
D= pot roast, carrots, salad

"Persistance pays!!!"
I agree 100%. Seeing results helps and adds motivation as well.
Last night I played 2 hours of Dodgeball sweating out the last of the flu/bronchitus. Today I'll catch a nap and make up for it.
I went to the nutritionist today and although she tried to be helpful, at one point she said "The brain runs on carbs and you need at least 199/day to keep it working efficently" and I tuned out. She finally said whatever works in the long run is best so I got weighed and will see her in 2 months.
On track with eating but still not very hungry.

I don't know about you, Randy, but I wouldn't want to hit my poor brain with that many carbs in one day! :confused::rolleyes:;)

Agnes, this was a very fast week for me, too. I don't remember most of it! Glad you had time to stop in. :cool:

Yeah, the session was a dissapointment. According to her none of our brains would be working.;)
Also excuse my typing error of 100/day.
