Okay gang, for those of us in the States, it's a week for Thanksgiving. That doesn't excuse us from exercise, though! The body needs to move, regardless. It doesn't have to be anything "killer" but let's keep the heart pumping and blood flowing, okay :)?
For those of us not in the States, guess you can't use the holiday as an excuse for anything, can ya  :p?
So it's time to start reporting in, gang, because there is no slacking off in this thread unless you want the Shadow to come after you  :slywink:!

Something's happening! I was actually looking forward to today's workout. I don't know if I'm beginning to like it  or afraid of Shadow's whip? :paranoid:
I got my workout in this morning before breakfast.
30 minutes leg work on the pedaling machine.
15 minute warmup on the pedaler for the upper body.
1 set 15 reps of bicep curls, tricep extensions, front deltoid raises, side deltoid raises, wrist curls, bench press and butterflies using five pounds.
10 minute upper body cool down on the pedaler.

That is terrific Bill! I'll be exercising after I deal with my ins co this morning and the kids are off to school.
Shadow's whip is intimidating- I try stay on her good side.
Did HIIT wo first thing this morning-but unlike Bill, I didn't feel like it (but then there is Shadow) so I did it anyway.
I have a session of ub with lite wts planned after a shake breakfast.
No walk today as it's pouring

Still in a house cleaning frenzy here. I am doing whole rooms at a time --from top to bottom so it is taking a while. I did take time out yesterday to go golfing with dh as it has been forever and I wanted to enjoy the gorgeous sunshine before it hid out again (as it is today)
So anyway, I'm lifting and moving ---plus stepping up and down off chairs to reach tops of cabinets and etc and kneeling and crawling to get back behind things---what a way to work out---- I'll take my dvd anytime !!!

Yesterday I did 30 min of Strength Training (back, chest, shoulders, arms, legs & buns from Basic Training dvd). Today, as I had some more time (instead of attending my classes as I went to the hospital to visit a friend) I split the workout in two: a.m. WATP 2 Miles and p.m. Mat Pilates from Pilates for Weight Loss.

Hi, y'all! I was so tired after work/exercise/grocery shopping yesterday that I put in a roast for dinner and collapsed into my chair. Never even booted up the 'puder. I'm not getting enough sleep!
Upper body, two sets of reps at the lighter weight and fifteen minutes on the arc trainer. It felt good.

Oh. Well, I suppose I'd better do something today as well then.
I just had a moment of complete confusion because the spell-checker was highlighting almost everything, and I couldn't see anything wrong. Then I realised it was set for French.
Today
I planned on just a walk but got on the bike and knocked out a 10 min HIIT
session followed by another isom wo.
DW wants to go to lunch and then a walk on the boardwalk.
Shadow, what is going on here ???? - at my age I'm supposed to be shuffling around looking for a place to take a nap.

I planned to work out yesterday, but I took the opportunity to see the chiro instead. We talked about pelvis stability and transverse abs. He doesn't want me doing some of the waist-twisting that my tai chi stretches contain. He's suggesting CRUNCHES, which I hate.
I've started doing wall pushups as a prelude to body weight exercise. It sounds interesting, but I'm going to have to prepare for it! Right now I don't think I could do a plank! :p
Anyway....today will be pushups and the stretches that I can do.
