Good morning Randy and everbody else as they post.

I believe my weekend will be on track. All my meals are planned out. No off-plan food in the house. And my anti-carb failsafe is activated. I've named her Doy, lol, my wife!

The parade yesterday was great despite a light misting of rain. At the armory where the kids met with Santa and had treats, many adults commented that I looked more like Santa than the guy hired by the borough.

Breakfast- 2 eggs, 4 whites, 3 Esskay turkey bacon, 105gms strawberries, 2c green tea.
43gms protein, 10gms carbs.

Lunch- 4oz grilled sirloin pork chop; broccoli salad(broccoli florets, onion, bacon, pecans, dressed w/mayo, vinegar, Splenda and celery seed), 2c green tea.
49gms protein, 8gms carbs.

Supper- 5oz grilled steak, steamed broccoli/cauliflower, 2c green tea.
40gms protein, 11gms carbs.

Everybody have a great and productive low carb day.

Bill - are you sure you didn't star with M. O'hara and N wood in "Miracle on 34th St."
Today I'm making chili with 2x the ground chuck, lots of green peppers and onion but ,of course, beans. I'll probably still be under 40 ecc for the day. B= 5 ecc and Lunch will be chicken or steak over greens.
Only had 18 ecc yesterday set up by a high protein breakfast. Had no hunger the rest of the day.
You guys can have the snow, I'll take the rain.
Be well

Bill you look like the real thing---are you sure you are in Pa?????

And also---good for Doy. It's nice to have someone on your side for support and encouragement ---and a mean look if necessary isn't it. My dh is very supportive of my efforts so I know how important it is.

Cold and sunny here , we are having folks over to have pizza and play games this evening so I'm looking forward to that. Not much else planned except to make some low carb yeast rolls this afternoon.

How are you doing this weekend?I'm just dandy, Randy! Thanks for opening up this morning. I'm a deer widow in an empty house and enjoying it. I got busy right off and didn't get to the computer until now.

And my anti-carb failsafe is activated. That is a great system, Bill! I know you appreciate Doy. Some folks would pay highly for service like that.

You must be really busy, but I see from your post in M&S that you're still dancing. ;)

I'm cooking bacon, drinking coffee and watching it snow. I have a long list of to-do's today. Paying bills is next, then I have well over 100 photos to process and my computer doesn't seem to want to do them in a batch. :peeved: I'll be fortunate if I can get the housework done.

I'll be back later.

Hi Santa, er.. Bill. I'm sorry to hear about the rough night. Hope it will ease soon.

I am going to Ft. Leonard Wood with my daughter today after church as she hopes to get to visit with her dh who has just graduated from basic training there. We aren't even sure we'll get to see him, but she is hoping. It is about 80 miles from here. I want to also go to the PX and commissary while we are there as I discovered last time they carry Dreamfields pasta products for $1.79 a box. I want to load up on that !!

Sooo, I'll check in sometimes later.... have a great day all.

Hi, y'all,
So good to "see" you again, Randy.

I have been MIA since the summer, but for since Thanksgiving I have been back on plan.

Still in grad school, and working full time.

Untill Sept, I was in a very stressful job and gained 15 lbs back from the stress at work.
HOwever, with my new position, (I changed departments) and things have leveled off, and I am heading back in the right direction.

Would like to join the challenge this month, as I don't intend to wait to start back on PP in January, I would rather start the year lighter!

Talk to y'all later,

By all means, Claudette! Please join us. :) If you want to know the structure of the December Challenge, it's the same as the November Challenge and there's a sticky up. I'm glad you're back with us and that your work life has evened out.

I didn't have any trouble staying on-plan today. An added bonus was that DS did venison and pork on the grill tonight and SERVED me! :D I did not finish the chores I had planned because the DGS was here for his overnight. He has a way of keeping my attention.
