Good morning, all! I'm the "bad example" of planning ahead today. I forgot to set up my lunches for the week on Sunday and now I'm scrounging for something to take to work. :p I think it's gonna be t-t-t-tuna again! I burned out on tuna-from-the-can thirty years ago. This time it's a pouch, but it's the same feeling.

Breakfast is a pumpkin shake. Dinner will be something wonderful with ground venison. Usually my snack is almonds and/or Lindt chocolate.

I hope you've got your food planned for today!

Hi, y'all,

Carol, good girl, aren't those tuna pouches something? I ate so much tuna that like you, for the last few years I almost can't stand it. I eat it only in a pinch.

Thank you Bill and Carol for your advice on dealing with the cookie monster! I will put them to use. Lindt dark choc and nuts sounds heavenly, I will look for it.

Started my day off with exercise, 20 min Callanetic's for abds/waist.

Today is:
B-whey protein shake w/ hood milk, whole wheat toast w/ smear of butter
L-chic salad on lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sf jello dark choc mousse, tea
S-few cashew halfs
S-clementine
D-grilled something with fresh veggies, green salad, sf jello
HS-(before bed) hood choc milk w/ whipped cream on top

Have a good one!

Good day Folks!

Hi Carol planning ahead is a must for me without a structured meal plan I'd be eating anything quick and easy. If I put it on paper I'll adhere to it with the help of Doy.

Morning Claudette no thanks needed I'm more than happy to pitch my thoughts and experiences out there if it will help someone. That's what this forum is all about.

I started my day out with some stretching to loosen up these old bones.

I must admit there's not much planned for today. Probably look through some of my cookbooks to find some new recipes to try.

I might get the ole quitar out and do a little picking. I'm kinda in the mood to pick some Christmas tunes.

Breakfast- 1/2c cottage cheese, 7 breakfast sausage links, 47gms strawberries. 2c green tea.
40gms protein, 9gms carbs

Lunch- 2 roast beef rollups; 4ozs deli roast beef, 2ozs deli swiss cheese, 2 red leaf lettuce leafs, 1T chipotle mayonnaise, 1 med peach(3-1/2ozs), 2c green tea
42gms protein, 9gms carbs.

Supper- 6oz grilled chicken; 1/2c green beans; 1/2 med peach, 2c green tea.
42gms protein, 9gms carbs.

Everbody have a good day.

I rode the recumbent bike last night for 40 minutes...I plan to ride it again tonight. I do have a lot to do, but I'd still like to make it a habit.

Food is planned and the day very organized. I am off this week and will get a lot of little things done.

Late Breakfast: Beef Ribs

Snack: Yogurt with Fruit and Whey Protein

Dinner: Pork Roast with Asperagus

Surgery yesterday was very quick and vision is amazing. I was on my way home in less than an hour from the operation time. I'll need reading glasses which I'll pick up today.

Dinner was a disaster last night ... DW was out at a Christmas party with her Bunko friends, so I tried to make a bacon-cheddar soup. Not very good. So I had that, then some frozen strawberries, then a couple of slices of Smart Carb 1 toast, then some more frozen strawberries ... I'll bet I went over last night. So now I feel heavy and bloated (the scale doesn't agree yet, but all our sins show up there eventually!)

After the bacon-polooza last night, I just had eggs for breakfast this morning, and I'll probably eat light the rest of the day. I go to the doc at noon for the results of my latest lab tests. I'm hoping for good news on the HDL front.

I'm not as organized as usual myself right now either Carol. With work now non-existent I don't feel much need to plan lunches etc. I really do need to get some groceries in today though.

We finally got some snow last night. It was really lovely to watch it cover everything with a shimmering layer of white. Today of course it looks like crap because it has started to rain. We're supposed to get a mix of snow and rain all week, so everything will be covered in slush. As long as we don't get a cold snap to freeze it all it will be ok.

I'm meeting SIL to get paint in about an hour then get some work done.

B & L pretty much the usual today, dinner will be salmon and ??

Good afternoon everyone! I'm not organized at all today (just like yesterday). Still not feeling perky but at least I know why. How does a person who drinks a gallon of water get kidney stones anyways????

No workout today unless walking around the silly clinic counts :) I better go clean my kitchen up!

I don't know the answer to that but at least you know what's wrong now. :jawDrop:

We finished one coat in the kitchen/family room but we, well me anyway, won't be painting again til Thursday as I actually have to work tomorrow. So I am getting organized now, getting lunch together etc.

Had mashed cauliflower with goat cheese and stuff with the salmon for dinner, lots of leftovers for tomorrows dinner (which will be late for me).

Excellent planning today, troops! Everyone but me, that is.

Michelle, that's just not fair! :jawDrop: I hope it passes without any more trouble!
