Good morning! Do you have any humor to share today? Actually, I think this is a particularly witty bunch of folks every day, but on Wednesdays we go over the top! Anyone may chime in. :)

My breakfast is a pumpkin/ricotta shake. Lunch will be a tuna wrap. Dinner will be beef & chorizo.

What's up with you today?

Morning everybody!

http://www.butlerwebs.com/jokes/images/Little_Girls_small.jpg

Main objective today...stay warm!! Brrr! 23 degrees with a wind chill of 9 degrees.

I started this morning out with my standard Wednesday workout as outline in Movers and Shakers. This got the juices flowing and warmed me up.

Not much planned today. Doy has her follow-up for her broken ribs. She still has a good bit of pain. I'll update later.

On the menu for today is:

Breakfast- Cheesy Spinach Omelet(1T olive oil; 1/8 onion, diced; 1 clove garlic, minced; 1c/21gms spinach; 2 slices turkey bacon(I use Esskay's), diced; 4 eggs, beaten; 1oz cream cheese, small dice, 2c green tea. 40gms protein, 6gms carbs.

Lunch- 6oz grilled chicken; 1c steamed buttered broccoli, 2c green tea.
45gms protein, 7gms carbs.

Supper- Baked orange-roughy fillet; 1/2c wax beans; 1/2 med peach, 2c green tea.
42gms protein, 9gms carbs.

Have a good day all you losers!!! ;)

That's a good one, Bill !!! Love it.

I guess I missed what happened to your dw's ribs??? Hope she is okay and doing better. It must be so painful. Hope she feels well soon.

I bought a carpet cleaner yesterday while out shopping.. I guess it is sort of a pre Christmas present to myself....what is wrong with me??? Anyway, we got it put together and I am hoping to use it on the dining room carpet sometime today.

I wonder if the Shadow will consider that as exercise for the day...nah, I better go do something deliberate like using small weights or the ellipitical machine...she'd never buy carpet cleaning, I just know it.

See you all when I get back from the torture chamber. (Can you tell I love to exercise??--well, actually I do love it--but only after it is done.)

Yes Karole, exercise is wonderful when it is done. Don't you just want to smack someone who just can't wait to get at it?- just kidding (I think).:D
I have some appropriate Maxine toons but I am severely compromised in trying to post one.
All is going to plan with the WOE and all #'s are in the target range. Having lunch with DS so I don't know what that will bring but I'll find something that fits the plan.
The ortho moved me to next Monday so I don't know what 's going on with the knee but it is coming around a bit. I better update dear Shadow to try to appease her.

I agree completely. Good thing cyberspace is so..well spacey. We'd let them have it, huh. ( Just kiddin too)

Actually I'd love to be gung ho to get up and at it each morning before the sun rises , before breakfast, before I even wake up---yeah, if I could do it before I even wake up I just know I would love to exercise--I'm going to ask Shadow for some of those routines to try out tomorrow.:nod:

Good ones Ammy !! I'm like Monty--can't quite figure out the method of transferring jokes from one place to another so glad you are here for us.

And thanks for letting me know how Doy broke her ribs. Wow, that must have hurt.

Hi, ya'll,
Whew, busy day, but interesting. I like my job!

Love all the cartoons!

Wow, Bill, can sympathize with your wife. I cracked a rib coughing years ago, the ER doc just wouldn't believe me, x-ray proved me right. At that time, he gave he some numbing spray for topical use which helped me a great deal. I still slept in hubby's recliner for a month with a pillow to splint my side untill it got better.

Karole,
I agree, I hate to get out of bed in the am to exercise, but I just set the alarm, when it goes off, I hit the floor, hit the bathroom, then go do it before I become too awake. I usually stick with toning work in the am, save the cardio for the evening since I really work up a sweat.

Scale is registering a gain due today due to my "cookie excursion" last Sunday. Sometimes it takes a few days to show up, but I have been on track from Monday on.

Today's menu:
B-eggs, hood milk, toast w/ smear butter, cinammon & splenda
L-egg salad (yes, I know, got to go the the gro store tonight), raw veggies, clementine.
S-sf ocean spray diet cranberry/grape juice
D-will be baked chic, green veggie, probably brussel sprouts, green salad.

Started out the day again with 20 minutes of Calanetics for waist, abd, upper body.

Have a great day, all.

Hugs,
Claudette

Thanks for the funnies, guys! This has been a crazy day. I've been on to post at least three times and then got pulled away before I could even read everything!

I made our favorite soup tonight only to find out that one of the canned ingredients now has onions added. The Geezer noticed it--he's the one allergic to onions. Darn!

I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight. Wish me luck! ;)
