Good morning! Christmas is just a couple of days away. Are you stronger for having been planning and being more aware of your eating?

Breakfast is a protein shake, lunch will be tuna, dinner will be roast beef.

I have a small party tomorrow evening and a big party Saturday. I weighed in this morning, just to remind myself, and found an extra four pounds! It's just the extra salty food (mostly cheese) I've been allowing myself, but it will remain in my mind for the rest of the week. That's a good thing.

Have a great day, everyone. :)

I am packed and ready...just waiting for 11am when I leave work and start the drive.
I sure hope I can make it with no ice issues. If it's raining (i.e. snopping as we call it) I can deal with it, but ice...ugh.

breakfast was same as always
lunch will be wendy's burger and salad
will have an iced coffee
not sure about supper as we may be on the road and we may be at my bro's.

If anyone else is traveling today...be safe, and don't be in a hurry!

Hi, ya'll,

Carol, sorry about the 4 lbs, but I agree, there presence will help you through the next few days.

Ammy, I hate ice, too. When it ices in North Texas, it paralyizes the cities. Be safe on the road, too. Say, what is your same breakfast as always? I don't remember! ;)

Bill, what a lovely Christimas poem from yesterday! :)

Well, last full day at work, in a clinic today that is usually not so busy.
Tomarrow afternoon, by executive order, we are suppose to get a half day off.

I have a few unwrapped presents to wrap tonight. Wrapping presents is my least favorite thing to do.:(

Food is thawing, that I ordered it cooked but frozen this year from a grocery store deli, so I am ready for the day. Just heat and eat!

Menu:
B-whey protein shake, 1/3 c. oatmeal, coffee w/ splash H & H, bite of LC toast w/ butter
L- will buy today, probably chic salad on lettuce and tomato
S-clementine
S-SB protein bar
D- unsure, hubby is suppose to start something tonight.

Have a great day, all.

What a good idea! It takes some of the pressure off. That's using your head. :)

I am up a few pounds as well and my wife has asked for no more treats in the house (were to be used over Christmas and she succumbed to the temptation ... and once open, I also partook of the forbidden fruit. ;-)

Our out of towners arrive tomorrow night, as does Santa. I'm looking forward to it.

Wow, am I tired. I have tomorrow off though!! :D Tonight I will be making up a double batch of cheesy cauliflower casserole and possibly a crustless sf pumpkin pie. I'll do the dressing in the morning and take it over to my brothers place where we will be cooking the turkey. No point in cooking it here then taking it there. We will be having a very green (cloudy) Christmas. I'm looking forward more to the dinner I will do for DH and I on the 25th, a bbq duck just for the two of us. I'm having Mom and my aunt for dinner on the 27th and that will be lamb, pureed cauli with goat cheese and caprese salad. Kind of a meat fest holiday weekend for us. Grocery shopping today was an absolute scrum! I shouldn't need anything until the 27th now.

I hope those of you who have to travel get through safely.

Jilly

Tyrone Bill!!

I LOVE that comic!! Good one!!

Claudette...I usually take a flatout, put in spicy mustard and a cooked bratwurst, then roll it like a burrito and broil it so it's toast.
With that I eat 2 hard boiled eggs.
