Hey all! I'm still doing the pp thing but haven't been posting!! I found a new workout which I LOVE and am combining that with PP and hoping to see some results. I know PP alone wasn't doing it.

I am pulling myself up out of a huge slump where I didn't care. I was feeling all sorry for myself because I couldn't eat whatever I wanted to. I didn't want to have to think about it, I didn't want to have to modify/substitute. Then I decided to get over it!!! I ordered this workout series which looked like a blast which it IS and I'm back at it in a way I never did before. I used to half-heartedly work out but be religious with the food. Now I'm whole-heartedly working out and religiously eating PP. I really think this is going to be fantastic. Under the flab is a ripped body in the making.

*does the happy dance*

I missed you all and stayed away out of guilt but I'm here. I was always on the sidelines but now I'm in the game.

Thank you for putting up with me..time and time again.

Hi all, so good to see those familiar faces. I'm doing TurboJam ( can be found at http://www.beachbody.com ). It's an exercise program that really works your body, top to bottom. It incorporates a lot of martial arts and good old ab/glute/thigh etc workouts. THen there's other dvd's that target specific areas like thighs, buns, waist. What I'm saying doesn't do it justice. It's AMAZING! It's all done to hip urban music and it's a BLAST!

Having a good workout was a key missing ingredient, as I said, and so I'm sure working it's going to work!

Kitty - I have several friends who are absolutely enthralled with those workouts! Finding what we like to do is the key to getting exercise to be a habit. I am so proud of you :D :D :D!!!! You are rocking!

I also found a new best "friend" I think it's called Almond Breeze? It's a milk replacement that's good for protein shakes. I can't remember exactly but I think the net carbs is 12g per 8 oz glass? I buy vanilla flavor and it's like oh my gosh!! SOoooo yummy. It's just little things like that that make this wol HEAVEN. Now if I could stay out of the trail mix, it's my downfall. I get the kind with nuts, seeds and cranberries and though it's very healthy, too much of anything is a bad thing.

Glad to be back...gotta get up at 5:30 am to get the workouts in though. THAT takes dedication on my part as I have a lazy streak! Kitty

Kitty - You are so right that it's the little things that can keep us enthusiastic about this WOE :)! As for the trail mix, maybe you just shouldn't buy any ;). However, I am super impressed at that wake up hour, girl!!! I know you don't like to get up early and that establishing an exercise habit has been very hard for you - so major kudos to you for all this effort to make it something that lasts, even going above and beyond to get it done :D!!!
