I would like to thank the wonderfully “industrious reader” who put all this information out for us to utilize. After weeks of dealing with being hung up on by the Passport (lack of) information hotline and ill attempts to reach the status request line, I was finally able to get some real information from the Washington passport desk today. My family’s passports were sent out today via FexEx overnight. Thank you, and good luck to those that are still waiting.
Glad to hear you got through and got your passports on the way.

I noticed from MD’s blog that you were reading the 4 hour work week by Timothy Ferriss. I was reading his blog and recently came accross an interesting post about clearing up passport headaches. Here is the address:

Does this seem like something that could help?
Hi Freddy–
I haven’t read Timothy Ferriss’s book yet; someone gave it to me so I threw it on my stack of books I’m in the process of reading (I have a bunch going at any given time), and I haven’t had the time to read it.
I don’t know that I would give all the info to get the clear card, but if I traveled all the time I might. It probable wouldn’t work in the airports I travel through, anyway.
Cheers–
